ADVANCED PAYMENTS
We kindly ask our guests to pay in full for the gaming amount in order to secure your gaming or area hire.
All prices are stated on our prices & info pages.
We ask that you accept our terms and conditions including our cancellation charges during the payment process.
As outlined in our Privacy Policy we will not share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes without your prior consent.
If you do not show up for your gaming or area booking, payment will not be refunded.
We ask all our gamers to arrive 15 minutes before your game time, if you are running late then please let us know. We can only hold your gaming area for 10 minutes. After this time, we cannot guarantee your booking, however we will do our best to fit you in, if we can.
Payments are non-refundable.
We reserve the right to refuse admission.
CANCELLATION POLICY (APPLICABLE TO KIDS PARTIES AND GROUP BOOKINGS)
Star Pins reserves the right to cancel, amend, change or withdraw any offer or promotion at any time.
If you wish to cancel, please contact us more than 48 hours before your arrival time.
If you cancel, or change the date of your booking less than 48 hours prior to your reservation, your payment will not be refunded.
If you are a group of 15+ guests and want to cancel your reservation, you must give 10 days’ notice otherwise your payment will not be refunded.
Amendments to your booking, such as a decrease in numbers, will be subject to our cancellation policy.
If you do not show up for your gaming and/or food booking your payment will not be refunded.
Please be aware that by completing your reservation, you are accepting our terms and conditions as detailed here.
Increasing the party size prior to arrival requires an additional payment per additional guest.
We accept no responsibility for personal property brought into our venues, you do so at yourown risk.
DAMAGES
We may require a valid debit or credit card in the venue. If there is any damage to any equipment, we reserve the right to charge the cost of the repairs.
Please note that the word ‘gaming’ also applies to our VIP rooms and areas within the venue and any other bookable aspects of the venue.
OTHER
Our Star Pins venues require anyone under the age of 18 to be accompanied by an adult who is at least 21+
At Star Pins we do not allow sportswear (including football shirts and jogging/tracksuit bottoms). Fancy dress has to be tasteful.
CCTV
Please note that we have CCTV in operation for the safety of our staff and customers.
SHUFFLEBOARD
Due to the risk that the heavy metal pucks can pose to little fingers, this game is recommended to be played by those 18+ years. If you choose to play Shuffleboard with anyone under 18 you do so at your own risk.
BOWLING CONDITIONS
If using your own shoes, please ensure they are a safe, flat-soled and non-marking shoe.
Heels, open-toe, flip-flops or similar footwear are not permitted, bowling shoes can be found at the games desk.
Do not step over the bowling line at the start of the lane surface, our lanes are coated with a special oil varnish to protect them, the bowling surface is really slippery.
Pick up the balls carefully and hold with both hands. Children should use the lightest ball we offer, please ask in venue.
Whilst you are waiting to bowl, please do not touch the balls that are on the rack as your fingers could become trapped when the ball returns.
Do not place your hand inside the ball return at any time. Wait until the ball has returned fully onto the rack, if a ball does not return fully please ask a member of our team to assist you.
Should you notice any slippery surface or spill a drink yourself, please call over one of our team members who will be happy to help.
Please don’t move bowling balls between ball returns at risk of dropping and hurting yourself.
Under 18’s, any supervising adult is responsible for all the points above for any minor in aKing Pins venue
FOOD & DRINK
All pre-ordered food from one of our partner brands, or Royal Treats, as part of a package or party, are subject to availability and an alternative option may be offered.
KIDS PARTIES
Kids parties are bookable at specific times of the weekend and weekdays during term time, and during the summer school holidays - info of which is available online.
We require a minimum of 6 children for each party, all of whom must be between 7- 16 years old.
Online bookings are non refundable.
All parties must be paid in full, in advance of the event
Kids parties of 15 or more must be enquired about through our enquiry form.
Each kids party must be accompanied by a parent or guardian adult of at least 21+ years. It is the responsibility of the adult to supervise the party to avoid any possible accidents or injuries.
We do not allow unaccompanied kids parties.
If you have ordered food it will be brought to your designated dining area.
We don’t allow food to be eaten at the bowling lanes.
